Survey Time

May 17, 2020 by Admin

Imagine Town Center Families,

We first want to say that we MISS YOU and hope that everyone is well!

During these unprecedented times of school closures, it is more important than ever to hear from our parents and guardians about what we can do to support you. We ask you to take a few minutes to fill out an online survey. Your feedback is essential to ensure we continue to provide high-quality learning experiences to our Imagine Lions so they can thrive.

To submit the online Family Survey, please go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/ImagineFamily.

It will be available in English and Spanish from May 14-29. The survey should take about five minutes and you may use a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone to access it.

This Family Survey will help identify how children adapted to distance learning under the model we put together and what our families may still need help with. Let us know how we can better support you and your family! What you have to share with us as your family’s experience is foundational to our success and overall improvement. Please complete one survey per household (not one per child) by May 29.

Thank you for your support during these difficult times. We look forward to the day we can welcome students back to school. Until then, let’s all continue to stay safe, stay healthy, and stay connected.

#togetherISbetter

My Best,
Mrs. O’Grady

Technology Pick Up Update!

March 25, 2020 by Admin

By way of an update regarding technology check out available this Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. :
To be clear, these devices will be available (one per household) for those who have no devices in their homes. In many families, my own included, siblings will share devices and teachers will be extremely flexible and understanding of that situation. Teachers will provide video learning that students can access any time throughout the day to work around each family’s unique schedule and situation. If you previously misunderstood and filled out the survey about needing a device, and you in fact, do not, please feel free to email me and let me know.
For those who are attending, for the health and welfare of all, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN THROUGH THE LINE SO THAT YOU CAN UTILIZE YOUR OWN PEN AS WE HAVE YOU SIGN DOCUMENTATION OF THE DEVICE YOU ARE TAKING.

We are doing our absolute best to assist you all and ensure a positive start Monday, March 30. We promise to communicate transparently each step of the way.

Thank you.
Mrs. O’Grady

Technology Pick Up Information

March 25, 2020 by Admin

Wow!

Thank you for the amazing response rate from our technology survey we administered last week. Our school family responded with urgency and efficiency to maximize our time to prepare for our next steps of technology sign out and distribution for those who indicated they have a need within their household for a device. If you have requested to pick up a device for your student, this week, Wednesday, 3/25/2020, we will be open for a drive up service to sign out a school device for your child. We will be open from 1-3 p.m. for technology sign out. Please enter campus and proceed to the back car rider drop-off area that we use in the mornings near the PE field. There, we will have staff to assist you. There should be no need for you to exit your vehicle, nor is there the need for you to bring your students with you to campus for sign out. Please remain in your vehicle, with it in “Park”, and staff members will assist you as soon as they are available to do so, bringing you necessary equipment as well as documentation for you to sign. Thank you for your support in making this work just as efficiently as you did in completing the survey. We appreciate you. #togetherisbetter

My Best,
Mrs. O’Grady

COVID-19 Update 3/18

March 18, 2020 by Admin

Tech Survey Response Needed – see below or click here
COVID-19 Update 3/18/2020

Good morning, Imagine Town Center Families,

The Governor announced last night that public school students won’t return until at least April 15, and all K-12 testing is cancelled for the year. I am certain there will be more guidance regarding virtual learning later this week from the State so that we are prepared to begin with that method of instructional delivery on March 30. I will update you with a thorough plan when more information is available. In the meantime, your participation in a survey regarding your household’s access to technology is VITAL. Please take this survey ASAP so that we can account for all of our school community’s needs. If this could be completed by the afternoon of Thursday, March 19, 2020 that would be most helpful to expedite our communication of a thorough plan with you all. Click to access the brief survey: click here

Currently, there are no expectations in place for students to begin virtual learning next week. Our school’s leadership team does plan to send out some opportunities to learn and practice at home next week; however, these will be 100% optional.

Quarter 3 report cards which were to go home Wednesday, March 25, 2020 will not be printed and sent home. For all students, these can be viewed online through Jupiter Ed. Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you have any problems viewing the report card. Keep in mind it will not be accessible until Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Additionally, due to this abrupt change in school scheduling late in the year when so many activities have been planned, the volunteer requirement for our campus has been waived to assist families and to ensure that those who would like to retain their spot for the upcoming year can do so. We hope this is of assistance to you all, as you have always been a great assistance to us in this partnership.

We are living in unprecedented times. Rest assured that Imagine Town Center cares deeply for our Lions and will do what we can to support our families each step of the way. We will not be perfect in our plan to navigate this pandemic, but we will be honest, transparent, and earnest in our efforts. I ask for additional measures of grace for myself and this amazing team as we work together to navigate uncharted waters. I promise we will also give grace where needed.

Please take our survey ASAP to help us identify our families’ needs, and we will most definitely be in touch later this week.

My Best,
Mrs. O’Grady
